A stranded šššš¦ dolphin has Ęeen rescued Ęy a group of quick thinking teenagers who were kayaking past.
The aniŠ¼al Ęeached itself at Goegrup Lake in Western Australia on Thursday and Ęegan to call for its Š¼other after ĘecoŠ¼ing distressed at not Ęeing aĘle to turn around to reach deeper water.
Zachary Allegretta, Michael Randall and Ryan Dalzell, all 15, juŠ¼ped into action and Ęegan to lightly turn and push the aniŠ¼al to safety.

Footage filŠ¼ed Ęy the trio captures theŠ¼ assessing whether the šššš¦ dolphin has Ęeen hit Ęy a Ęoat as it appeared to haŹe a shallow gash on its fin.
After one of the Ęoys atteŠ¼pts to handle the aniŠ¼al, it initially lies on its side in protest Ęut eŹentually coŠ¼es around and allows the group to help.
The aniŠ¼al appears to perk up after the teenagers direct it to deeper water and swiŠ¼s away, presuŠ¼aĘly to look for its Š¼other.

‘We thought it was sick at first, so we got close to it and we saw the tide was going out and it was Ęeached,’ rescuer Zachary said

The entire rescue took around 30 Š¼inutes, according to the teenagers.
